Stanley Jr. Power Workbench and Mega Tool Set

The Stanley Jr. Mega Power N' Play Workbench is the perfect toy for this upcoming holiday season. Whether your child has already shown an interest in tools or you would like to spark that interest, starting them on the path to being self-sufficient and handy, this set has what you are looking for.

The first thing to catch my eye we noticed while assembling the work bench. It fits together very easily and actually uses the same nuts that are used for play to secure and fasten the leg supports and the back board. Aside from the clear benefit of it not being one of those sets that takes forever to assemble, this also means that even building the actual set can be part of the playing and learning process (i.e., the fun!).

Intended for ages 3 and up, this 52-piece set has a variety of tools and accessories making it easy to to stay busy with for hours. The fully tilt-able miter saw actually spins with sound effects (powered by two AA batteries, not included), though it should be noted that the Mega Power N' Play Workbench does not include any artificial wood with which to "cut."  Also included is a hammer, handsaw, screwdriver, adjustable wrench, pliers, and an assortment of black and silver nails, nuts, and bolts.

The second set we played with, called the Stanley Jr. Mega Toolset, includes not only more nuts, bolts, and nails, but several tools and extras that make the Workbench feel more complete. A ruler,  box-end wrench, flat-head screwdriver, and most notably, a power drill with 3 bits! The power drill is "powered" by your fingers, not batteries. As you pull the trigger, the drill spins, and as you release it, it spins the opposite way. This set also includes a wearable yellow hard hat, as well as 5 artificial wood pieces that are great for pretending to saw, drill, and whatever else a young carpenter can imagine.

If you really want to complete your set, your child would love looking the part with the Stanley Jr. Tool Belt Set! With 11 tools and accessories, your child can fill their tool bet with all the essentials of a handyman.
